DAY 20: Well today was suppose to be our day off but it seems as though there is nothing stopping us from our workouts! Ok...i did take it easier than normal though. My workout today consisted of a nice 35 minute walk with Georgia, Sophia and out little dog Maxie. Later on that evening, after a nice dinner at the Keg with my family, Georgia, Sophia and I decided to hit the basement for a quick 20 minute workout.Mine consisted of: 2 sets of oblique crunches and 2 sets of standard crunches,
3 sets, high weight low rep dumbell curls, 3 sets of lateral arm raises and finally 5 minutes of stretching.
Sophia, feeling better than yesterday was on the treadmill for 10 minutes, followed by a set of dumbell curls (3 lbs x 20 reps) and 2 sets of arm raises using 3 lb balls x 10 reps. At age 6 I wasn't expecting her to do much more considering it was 8:30 at night :). Georgia seems determined to work out for hours straight trying to develop different strength training techniques. Future gym owner possibly? She hit the treadmill for 12 minutes including 5 minutes worth of arm curls using the 2lb weights while walking, 2 sets x 20 reps of lateral arm raises using 2lb bals, and finally 2 sets of crunches at 50 reps each. This wasn't enough for her but I needed them to wind down for the night and considering it was our "day off" I think we did well.
